Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms are between you and Michelle Ho, trading as Happy Learners("we", "us"). Happy Learners is an online quiz website for UK primary school children, covering maths, English, science, geography and spelling. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Who can use it
The website is designed for children to use with a parent or carer. Subscriptions must be purchased by an adult (18 or over). If you buy on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.
Your account
Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Please provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
Using the website properly
You must not misuse the website. That includes:
- using it for anything unlawful;
- fraud, spam or deceptive behaviour;
- copying or redistributing our questions or content;
- interfering with the website's security, introducing malware, or probing or scraping the site;
- reverse engineering or reselling access to the service.
Our content
We own the website and everything on it — the questions, software, design and branding. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the website for your family while your subscription is active. You may not copy, resell or redistribute it.
Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time.
Availability
We work hard to keep the website running, but we do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Suspension and ending access
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, do not pay, or if we need to protect the website or other users from security or fraud risk. When access ends, your right to use the website stops.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits or data), and our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not transfer your account to someone else without our agreement; we may transfer our obligations as part of a merger or sale of the business. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
